Seth Barchowsky began his journey in the arts with woodworking, from hand carving bowls to architectural millwork. This led to a major profession change to become an Artist Blacksmith. Wood as a whole limited the ability to produce art with shapes that led to the organic style that Seth is noted for. Seth apprenticed for two years with a Master Blacksmith from Holland. He then continued his education by attending international conferences, regional seminars and reading up on the European styles and ways of traditional blacksmithing. Seth's work includes a full spectrum of pieces ranging from traditional to functional art. Recent commissions that Seth has produced are Railings, Furniture, Hinges and Sculptures. Because of the architectural millwork background Seth has the ability to produce pieces that are not only exquisite in detail but are structurally sound. Seth's passion and inspiration for the art is obvious by the meticulous detail that is seen in each piece. He is always striving for the highest quality possible.
